Frequently Asked Questions

It’s my first time. What class would you suggest?

We have a curriculum that has been carefully written and planned out by Chrome Staff. It is built with the intention of setting you up for success, at any level. Pole 101 is our beginner friendly course that will start your pole journey off on the right track.

What is the cost of classes, and can I buy a bundle?

When bought individually, instructor-led classes are $25. Open Gym classes are $15. Note that Open Gym classes are not led by an instructor. We also offer various workshops that range in price but will always be posted on our website.

We offer the following class packages:

  • New Student 3 class Package for $60

  • 6 Class Package for $114

  • 12 Class Package for $216

You will be prompted to purchase a package when signing up for class or click Pricing to view these packages and purchase online!

We also offer the following monthly memberships:

  • 3 class monthly membership: $54

  • 6 class monthly membership: $106

  • 12 Class monthly membership: $195

  • Monthly unlimited membership: $240

All memberships include free Open Gym classes, 15% off merchandise and workshops, $20 off private lessons, 1 bottle of Monkey Hands of your choosing after 6 consecutive months of membership, premium seating at studio showcases. Each membership requires a minimum 3 month commitment. After three months, you have the option to cancel the membership if needed.

Do I have to sign up online or can I walk in?

We highly suggest you sign up online! If there are not two people signed up for class, we will cancel it! Signing up online has you pay and sign waivers ahead of time instead of taking up class time. We also have a 12 person maximum for class and while we won’t turn away a walk-in, online sign-ups help us prepare for class more appropriately.

What should I wear?

Shorts, booty shorts, swim bottoms, or anything that comes at least 2 inches above the knee. You will want your knees and armpits exposed to help with grip. Tank tops, crop tops or swim tops would be best when it comes to shirt options. For the choreography or grounded class, knee pads are suggested.

Please do not wear metal bracelets, rings or fitness watches while attending class. Your personal jewelry can get damaged, and the poles can get scratched.

When is Week 1?

Check out our social media pages for the current curriculum week. You can find us @chromeokc on Instagram and Facebook. We post the new week every Sunday!

While the curriculum is progressive, you DO NOT need to start at Week 1. We suggest jumping in whenever you can! If you’re ready to graduate early, we’ll help you with that. Each CHROME instructor is prepared to provide you with alternative moves so if you come to a week that’s further along in the curriculum, don’t worry! We’ll take it back a week or so to ensure your experience is just as awesome!

Other things to know?

If you can, please try to refrain from moisturizing as much as possible on pole training days. Putting on lotion the night before is okay if you are someone who gets dry easily.

I am interested in booking a private party. How much does that cost?

To get your party on the calendar, a non refundable booking deposit of $114 must be paid to hold your reservation. Private parties consist of:

  • 15 minutes check-in/ set up time

  • 60 min class instruction

  • 15 minutes of fun photo op/recording/ clean up time.

Private Parties can include pole instruction, chair instruction or a combination of the two. The cost is $228 for up to 6 people and $38 per person over 6. Any other questions regarding getting the party of your dreams booked - please email info@chromepoleandaerial.com.

I am not in shape! Is this something that ANYONE can try?

Our motto is “Come where you’re celebrated, not tolerated.” No workouts needed before coming. Whether you feel you cannot dance, have no upper body strength or haven’t worked out in awhile, everyone starts at the beginning. You are not alone. Our type of fitness is unique, as is the journey for every person, but our staff and community will be here cheering you on with every step.

Cancellation Policy

All classes need to be canceled or rescheduled 8 hours before the scheduled class time. Log into your account at chrome.as.me to cancel or reschedule.

Late cancel: Any classes not canceled within the 8 hour window will forfeit the funds/class credit used to purchase the class. No-shows will also result in a forfeit of funds and credit. Canceling on time ensures that unused class spots can be given to other clients wanting to attend, so we appreciate you helping us with this.

If there are not 2 or more people signed up (online) by 4 hours in advance, we will cancel the class and notify you by text or email. If only 2 people are signed up, the instructor reserves the right to run class shorter - up to half the amount of originally scheduled class time.

Late arrival policy

To maintain student safety, students who arrive at class after the warm-up has been completed are not permitted to participate.

I am concerned about my weight. Will the pole hold me?

The short answer is yes! Our studio has Lupit Poles that are mounted to the ceiling and can withstand up to 300 pounds of “side load” which is the technical term for how much force your body can create by pulling sideways on it. (As a beginner, you will not be putting a lot of side load on the poles.) For more info, please visit the LUPIT Website.

Are people allowed to watch?

No. We always welcome individuals into the studio to come in and check out the space/classes, but they are not allowed to sit and watch the entire class. Keep in mind, we are a co-ed studio and men are allowed to participate, but not watch. The only exception is Graduation and Bring A Friend Week because you may want your partner or friend to see you graduate. This is STRICTLY ENFORCED. No boyfriends, no husbands, no creepy people off the street. :)

Lost & found

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure their personal items are accounted for before leaving the studio. Personal items left behind in the studio are held for thirty days and are donated after.
